Words Worth Banning?

All official use of the word "mademoiselle" is now banned in Cesson-Sévigné, a suburb of Rennes, France. According to "The Local," two feminist groups have been protesting against the term because-they claim- it's “sexist and condescending.”

    UPDATED: Draft language of so-called curfew ordinance

    The committee opted Tuesday night to put off deciding on the ordinance until, at the earliest, its next meeting.
