Are you going to allow the federal government to take your means of self-protection away from you?
Will you allow the personal inclination of one man to undermine your Constitutional right to keep and bear arms?
If avoiding future tragedy is truly his motivation, would he risk far greater tragedy by sending armed representatives to disarm the citizenry?
Since the Second Amendment exists so as to prevent tyranny from prevailing here, can it not be construed that any steps toward violating that amendment is automatically an act of treason and tyranny?

Draft language of so-called curfew ordinance
ColtrainFull text of the Use of Public Right-of-Ways ordinance draft is below. Highlight: Would set hours of operation of each Athens-Clarke County "building campus" -- e.g. City Hall, the courthouse and Dougherty Street government building -- at 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily. Park hours would either be set by the Athens-Clarke County manager or the Mayor and Commission. The ordinance has been derided by members of Occupy Athens and others as seeking to enforce a curfew on public property, thus damaging their First Amendment right to peacably assemble for long-term protests. read more
