Who's your favorite Bond?

November 5, 2012

Last weekend, BBC America aired a James Bond marathon and I was glued to the TV all weekend.

When On Her Majesty's Secret Service came on, I didn't recognize the Bond.  I had forgotten about George Lazenby. That was Lazenby's only appearance as Bond.

I started thinking about all the men who played James Bond.

Here is the list I compiled:
1. Sean Connery
2. George Lazenby
3. Roger Moore
4. Timothy Dalton
5. Pierce Brosnan
6. Daniel Craig

Did I miss anyone?

My favorite Bond is still the original Bond, Sean Connery.

Connery made Bond who he is today. Daniel Craig is definitely less charming but he still has that Connery swagger about him.

Which actor is your favorite Bond?

Which Bond movie do you like to watch over and over again?

Who do you think will be the next Bond?

Blog: Can we please fix the Oscars?

Summary:  Fun facts: The first-ever Oscar ceremony, held in 1929, ran a brisk 15 minutes. By contrast, the longest was in 2002, clocking in at a monstrous 4 hours and change. As usual, there are things I loved about it and things I didn't. Rather than be snarky or complain, I'll offer a few suggestions on how the organizers might bring the show into the 21st century. Athens-Clarke County police officers responded to Pinewood Estates North on a 911 call concerning a heated domestic dispute. it reportedly was an argument over the lack of heat and food in a family's trailer and a woman was threatening to stab anyone who tried to take away her 7-month-old child. State patrol responded also, from their post nearby on U.S. Highway 29 North. The situation apparently was resolved. An officer reported he was driving the woman and infant to another home in Athens. read more
