"We" (used to denote oneself and another or others): We have two children. In this block we all own our own houses. And there are plenty of signs in people's yards in town to exemplify "we", who don't wish to have another WalMart. That is what this is about, isn't it.
You are just an old coot, who has lost his GOP election. Get over it and try again next time! You are such a sour puss! Find a friend, if you have any, or perhaps a neighbor to go to church with. You and your kind need it! It's Christmas Mr. Grinch!
You are hence forth, ignored!

I certainly have no ambittion to speak for you. My comment pertained to those that call us "libtards". That be you too?

A big box superstore doesn't fit that profile.

You forgot to include WalMart. We don't want that either.

I saw it in a particular Clarke Co. elementary school on numerous occasions. I was a teacher there. Administration was immediately informed and custodial staff removed their graffiti.
It is most unfortunate, however, the ignorant people that post here, and those who fail to realize that this is happening. These people here even give negative replies when it is commented on and brought to their attention. Incredibly bigoted people here. Good grief!

There is a lot going on in the world of pop culture these days and I?ve been so busy that I haven?t had much time to write about it. So how about we catch up? ?Arrested Development? is back! I admit, I was not a fan of this show while it was on network TV, but I watched it a year ago on Netflix and was hooked. read more

Rep. Regina Quick, R-Athens, was one of two local delegates to score less than an "A+" in the Chamber of Commerce's annual legislative score card. She and I played phone tag Monday when I was reporting the story and I wasn't able to get her comments in a timely fashion. Instead, she sent over this statement Wednesday morning and she did not mince her words. (Links and italicized portions are my own; otherwise, it's as she wrote it.) Dear Friends: read more
