posted @ Wednesday, January 16, 2013 - 09:17well....murray knew what he should have done...i watched him motioning to the sideline that he was wanting to spike the ball...his instinct was right as it turned out..most of the time...the qb knows best what to do...especially an experienced qb like murray....too bad he didn't see one of those " football movies " where the qb wings it on his own...now we'll be talking about this for a long long time....what a great game though !!!
posted @ Sunday, December 16, 2012 - 10:22why would ga. not play in a bcs game if they are in top 10 bcs at season's end ?? and....if they did beat alabama....what happens then ??

posted @ Saturday, November 3, 2012 - 08:28well....he should be after not looking like he was too worried about ga. vs sc. outcome....cmon coach....if you're into it...give it some enthusiasm....your team played exactly like you looked...cold as ice...can't win like that...maybe check out....saban, miles, spurrier, muschamp...they all are owning you right now....
posted @ Thursday, October 18, 2012 - 11:52we were in trouble right out of the gate....how do you defer after winning the toss ?? that place was in a frenzy like sanford stadium on steroids...and to give them the ball first was just the beginning of the worst showing of a georgia team in recent memory....period !
posted @ Thursday, October 11, 2012 - 08:03where were the all-sec and all-americans last sat. ? i didn't see any of them..oh, wait...they were playing for s.c. yeah, that's it !
posted @ Wednesday, October 10, 2012 - 08:53well it's easier to monday morning quarterback than to get ready saturday afternoon....BUT...someone tell me why we won the toss and gave sc first ball possession...with the crazy crowd noise and we score first ( haha ) the entire frenzied first quarter should have been different...poor decision....add the offensive plan ( or lack of ) that apparently has no screen passes or quick slants..well see what happened.....and for the life of me....how could we look so confused and bewildered on defense ??? what happened to the nfl coach who was supposed to fix our defense......and last...when will our special teams coach start kicking away from the fastest and shiftiest punt returners in college football....remember the honey badger ??...we don't get it...ain't gonna get it...i'm remembering new orleans when we lost to pitt and dan marino on a hail mary....and i went down to bourbon street and saw a dog fan crawling on his knees....and saying " i still love them dogs " that's how you lose and feel ok....this sat. night IS NOT !!!!! i'm gonna find better things to do on sat. now...sorry dogs...i'm embarrassed and you should be too...
posted @ Monday, October 8, 2012 - 08:30well until the board of regents have to get elected....and hold public meetings...and put this sort of thing before the people....it will not change....contact your elected officials, post up on social media...and express the outrage that should go along with this decision....whatever you might think....this does not benefit anyone or anything but mr. adams....period
posted @ Monday, September 17, 2012 - 17:29well....athens to atlanta would have gotten a lot more business if it hadn't been for the sorry and unreliable operation that was supposed to be provided by pacific wings....many passengers were trying this out and stopped for this reason....not the other options mentioned...most people in the athens area are headed to atlanta to connect on major airlines not charlotte or nashville...this proposal is doomed from the start..

posted @ Monday, January 9, 2012 - 09:25well...it's like this dog fans...when you have a 16 point lead..and a more than predictable offensive game plan...and players who were dog tired at the halfway point in the second half...a qb who had an awful game...and an entire program who really don't have a clue what a junk yard dog is....oh, and a running back who was supposed to be the next big thing....who turns out to be pretty easy to hurt....well....you're gonna lose....this game is exactly why i can't get too excited about our program...it's just not easy to watch a team who doesn't even try to outsmart or trick anybody...
posted @ Monday, January 2, 2012 - 22:32hug your kid NOW....and talk to them a lot...even if it's making them angry at you...never assume it ain't your kid doing stuff...
posted @ Saturday, December 24, 2011 - 10:50@andyk: well it doesn't actually surprise me at all...people posting up about stuff they don't have a clue about is pretty standard... the lawsuit this article refers to is probably going to gain some steam..and more former players are going to join in...these athletes are going to win their suit...bigtime...or some settlement to stay off the front pages will be the outcome...it's not about the risk...trust me, the kids/men who play football are well aware of the risks...it's the way the injury is diagnosed, treated, and the aftermath that is going to be brought out...and shown to be in the wrong that will expose the dark side of the nfl...but hey...the helmet to helmet hit is at least getting fined...not much help as the players are head hunters by nature...
posted @ Thursday, December 22, 2011 - 14:52most of the posts i'm reading here are totally ignorant to the facts about concussions and how they are perceived and understood by the sports world and the public..and, even though great strides have been made to correct this, several facts remain...we do not fully understand the long range effects of the concussion...and to the point of the article....just a couple of weeks ago an nfl quarterback was concussed and not even evaluated or treated on the sidelines...was put back in the game...and had a second hit occurred he was at extremely high risk of being killed...check out the state of colorado's new laws/rules for post concussion treatment and return to play protocol...it was implemented after a kid was returned to activity too quickly...he's dead now...

posted @ Saturday, December 17, 2011 - 09:21i hate it when the so called experts are right...but they were yesterday....saying ga. is a young team is an excuse...this was their 13th game..and dropping touchdown passes, coughing up the ball, getting 15 yard penalties from sidelined players.....just won't cut it...and someone please tell me why we were kicking to their return man ???? not only once...but we did a tin cup and did it again..so...we are decent, and did play a never gonna happen again schedule...so...we are just like the posts above...middle of sec second tier programs...ain't gonna see sugar for a long time....go dogs anyway !!! ps...need to look for a rb...crowell is not the answer...he should transfer now..
