Morehouse and the O-Quack. What a perfect pair.

Atlanta tax commissioner's SUV costs taxpayers $39,000

I am so fed up with the politicians and the bureaucrats, both. I think it's time for a good old-fashioned, Salem witch trial for these thieves.

Athens club sues rapper Gucci Mane for no-show

How can anything that calls itself "Gucci Mane"... take itself serious? Come on now... "Gucci Mane"? It would be more believable if he'd call itself... "Gucci Mange".

High-ranking Georgia agriculture officials resign

More government bureaucraps. It amazes me that the stooges are in charge. Why don't we make government bureaucraps our new export to other countries... like those third world countries that Logical mentioned. Instead of giving those countries oodles of our money.... let's give them these good-for-nothing bureaucraps. (And that includes the stooges at Sucky Security).

Atlanta transit system launches anti-crime app

This country is just a freakin' mess. I can't stand it much longer. We shouldn't need "spy people" on public transit. SHOULDN'T....... being the key word. This place is getting more and more third world by the day.

Bank distances itself from Atlanta 'Harlem Shake' video

Notice that Wells Fargo never got this vocal about taking the bank bailout money from us... but will moan and groan about this? And... so goes life in the Untied States.

Athens makes Forbes list of 'Best Places to Retire'

Athens is way better than it's giant neighbor, an hour away, with all of the major headaches of a major city. Athens may have its issues, but they are relatively minor compared to that "other place"... that starts with the letter "A".

Ernst & Young adding 400 jobs in Alpharetta

400 new jobs. That's about as equal to giving a billionaire ten cents. It won't even be felt.

46 years to deliver the post card? Doesn't surprise me in the least. Just goes to show how long the post office has sucked.

Atlanta's tallest tower half empty

Wow, with the oconomy rockin' Wall Street... I thought for sure this place would have no vacancies. Doesn't matter. It's not like it will be foreclosed on. (Besides, if it were... we'd just bail out Bank of America again anyway). Too big to fail. Gotta go scrape the dung off of my boots.

Homeless evicted from under Athens bridge where arson fire destroyed camp

I love bureaucrats. Trespassers will be prosecuted? These people are homeless. They have nothing. So to prosecute them, about the only thing that can be done to them is to jail them... and with that, they now have a place to stay. Like I said, I love bureaucrats. As for "the fence" they are going to install. Could the local bureaucrats please teach the federal bureaucrats on how to build that fence, so that the federal bureaucrats can construct one along the southern border of the Untied States?

Maybe I should just get a permanent seat at my therapist's office. Just never leave. Camp out there. I keep saying I see no light at the end of the tunnel, and then I read articles like this. The people who write these articles should list the phone number for the suicide hotline at the end of the article.

Homeless camp under Athens' North Ave. bridge destroyed by arson fire

The Untied States is looney tunes. This skank that caused the fire is homeless, but has money to buy from the crack dealer? I am so sick of idiots.

Draft language of so-called curfew ordinance

Full text of the Use of Public Right-of-Ways ordinance draft is below. Highlight: Would set hours of operation of each Athens-Clarke County "building campus" -- e.g. City Hall, the courthouse and Dougherty Street government building -- at 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily. Park hours would either be set by the Athens-Clarke County manager or the Mayor and Commission. The ordinance has been derided by members of Occupy Athens and others as seeking to enforce a curfew on public property, thus damaging their First Amendment right to peacably assemble for long-term protests. read more
