@athensdude12, you don't really know what happen do you? In your post you say that she did not hydroplane or lose control due to slippery road conditions (were you in the car with her?) you think the police are trying to make it look like the road condition was the cause of the accident, You think it was due to the driver negligence because the police was gathering up make-up, you think she was late for work. Until you really know the facts of what happen don't jump to the conclusion that she was an idiot. You are an IDIOT for assuming these things and Humbucker Bob is a bigger IDIOT if he take your advice. My condolences to the family

posted @ Wednesday, May 29, 2013 - 10:09What a humble man Charles Ramsey is. I like the fact that he said he did not want any reward money and to just give it to the little girl that was also in that house. We could sure use more good hearted people like Mr. Ramsey.

posted @ Wednesday, April 10, 2013 - 10:41@2dollar, she has a right to walk her dog anywhere she want to. Just because she live in a low income area does not mean she can't have an ipad. Did you ever consider that maybe she is working, it could be a gift, maybe it was used and she got it from the pawn shop. Proberly not. I'm sure you already have your assumption as to what type of person she is. You really need to get rid of all the myths that you hear about people living in certain area. I guess you, like so many others believe that if you live in low income housing you should not be entitled to have the least bit of luxury, not even an ipad. You didn't comment at all on the low life thug who sntached the ipad. Now he's the one proberly not working and living off of tax payers. Stop looking down on people and judging them just because of where they live. It is so dumb and stupid to do so.
posted @ Wednesday, April 10, 2013 - 09:37@loveUSA, if his friend could have done more I'm sure he would have. Maybe he could'nt swim and that's why he stayed on shore. Good job in making the friend feel guilty for not saving his friend. @ ppensly, you are just pathetic. Rest In Peace Robert Pittman

posted @ Monday, April 8, 2013 - 14:24Why is it so hard to believe that this lady was told to relive herself in the woods? If they have her surrounded and she is not allowed to go in and use the bathroom and they did'nt put her in one of their cars and take her to a bathroom, then where else could she relieve but in the woods?

posted @ Friday, April 5, 2013 - 08:46I don't care how long ago this murder happen or what anyone say, a normal person would want to bring some closure and know who was responsobile for murdering their love one. Anyone who does not have these feelings is just not human. There are still murders in this county that have not been solved, however I do believe that these murder victims parents and other family members would like to have some closure and know who was responsible for taking the life of their loved one.

The Athens Banner-Herald sports staff combined to win 11 individual awards on Sunday at the Georgia Sports Writers Association's annual meeting in Marietta. You can get a few more details on that in this story ? "Banner-Herald sports staff wins 11 awards" ? and I thought I'd provide some links to the winning stories for the curious. It?s hard to make too much out of a depth chart put out just under three months before the season opener, but it?s the dog days of June so here are the takeaways I see from Georgia?s latest official pecking order outlined below:--John Theus remains outside the first five on the offensive line. Continued motivation for the summer workouts? Maybe. The rising sophomore is behind Xzavier Ward at right tackle. read more
