Armed Athens drug dealer receives federal prison sentence

@Oistrakh: Exactly. I thought Mr. Moore's implication was that the change would be for the better. I sincerely doubt that!

School bus drivers could lose health insurance in state plan

Imagine putting a large group of kids behind you and then concentrating on driving down the road in all sorts of conditions. Instead of taking away their health insurance, these people should have their salaries doubled!

New grocery store, fuel center planned for Atlanta Highway

Too bad they couldn't have made use of the already more-or-less flat and already paved piece of property across from Phil Hughes Honda. And then some trees could have been saved -- what a novel idea!

Blackmon: Georgia's patchwork approach to education isn't working

"...our own special crazy." I must admit I laughed out loud when I read that.

Once again, Myra, you've said it all, and you've said so it well. Thank you.

Home of Sandy Hook shooter transferred to Newtown

I can't see how they can do anything with this house except tear it down. Or set it on fire to train the fire department. This is not a knee-jerk reaction -- I've been thinking about it since I first read the article last night.

I know people who say they won't go see anything unless they have at least one other person to go with, but I've always enjoyed having the place to myself.
