@Heisenberg: It can only be viewed as racist by a member of the Eternal Victims of America club. Perhaps it is an opportunity for Ms Caroline Bailey to grow up and develop thick skin and refuse to be a victim of what someone else thinks about her. For the life of me I do not understand why she gives her power to a complete stranger to have such an impact over her.posted @ Thursday, November 7, 2013 - 16:39

@Heisenberg: Again when Howard Stern makes "inflammatory" responses it is to initiate dialogue; that is all I read the original post on FB as. I do not read it through the eyes of the eternal victims club of America which many minorities are members of.posted @ Thursday, November 7, 2013 - 16:20

@Heisenberg: Nowhere in anything that I have posted have I said implicit or explicit that one race is superior to another or another race is inferior to another so please explain how anything I have posted is racist?
I have came to the conclusion the word racist is a word commonly used by one who does not possess the cognitive stimulus to engage in an intellectual dialogue without attempting to impugn one's character based upon ideological differences. It is akin to the Big Lie theory; that if one is called a racist long enough then obviously there must be truth to it regardless of the fact it is absent of truth.posted @ Thursday, November 7, 2013 - 15:56
Nope I would admit it if I were. I think using "inflammatory" words are perfectly acceptable to gain attention. Howard Stern pulls those kind of stunts all the time and people could care less.posted @ Thursday, November 7, 2013 - 15:46
David Lee Roth of Van Halen fantasy lived out it real life; it is a shame that something that is CONSENSUAL can be considered a crime.posted @ Thursday, November 7, 2013 - 15:41
Notice they played the victim card vs opening up a dialogue and answering the question. It is much easier to play the victim than it is to answer a hard question.posted @ Thursday, November 7, 2013 - 15:21
Athens Hi-Fi - If you don't have a uterus, you really shouldn't be deciding this.
Perhaps it should be unless your have been aborted you should not have a say in the matter, for one who possess a uterus has been extended the right to live.posted @ Friday, November 1, 2013 - 14:43
@MrCharlieW: The reality is those who died in Germany and those who die in abortion clinics are dead no matter how you choose to look at it. So your argument is not germaine to this topic.posted @ Friday, November 1, 2013 - 09:39
Abortion is nothing more than the ultimate form of child abuse and hypocrisy. With abortion we are denying one the very right to live; however, when it happens via MVA it is called feticide. It is hypocritical in the aspect that those who support such carnage are not willing to allow others the very right to existance that was extended unto him. The biggest marketers behind abortions are MDs since it is a cash cow. Perhaps we should legislate that murdering of innocent children should be free as was done with the Jews in Germany which would make MDs not waste their precious time for such a cause.posted @ Friday, November 1, 2013 - 09:05
The Medical Examiner for the state of Ga is straight up guy who tells it like it is. In fact to prove he has no bias he as actually testified for the defense in cases where he felt the evidence did not suppor the conclusion drawn. I have seen him discuss this case and only a person who does not want to accept the death of this young man as an accident could draw the conclusion it was not an accident.posted @ Thursday, October 31, 2013 - 15:23

Apply the same principal that a member of LEO uses in their defense of justifiable homicide where he/she felt they were in immediate threat to their life or bodily harm. It even works when they do stupid things like put theirself in the path of a moving vehicle that otherwise would not have been a threat to them.posted @ Wednesday, October 30, 2013 - 14:16
This is nothing more than a PR ploy for the government. Children would be safer if the resources used for such stunt were allocated to traffic enforcement to prevent children from being hit by a vehicle. Scientific data shows that Halloween is no different that any other day of the year as far as sexual crimes against children are concerned. Again this is why I think we need to pay members of LEO more so we can hire more qualified officers who actually possess critical thinking skills.posted @ Wednesday, October 30, 2013 - 13:43

This article reminds me of the dichotomy between a conservative and a liberal. If a conservative does not want to eat meat then they do not buy it. If a liberal does not eat meat then do they do not purchase it, nor do they want it sold in stores so others can not purchase it. Now who is the tolerant one again ???posted @ Wednesday, October 2, 2013 - 11:29
The ideological crusade is between that of a monarchy and a Democratic Republic. Unlike a king a president can not order nor expect his people to obey a command just because he delivers an edict.posted @ Tuesday, October 1, 2013 - 14:40
It was an extortion attempt on the part of Cruz and the Tea Party. They decided to use the threat of defunding the gubbermint in an attempt to repeal the ACA. Polls show 60% to 80% of Americans are opposed to using such a tactic, regardless of how they feel about the ACA. Talk about not listening to the people. The President has already gotten his way, because the SCOTUS decided the ACA was Constitutional, and the people re-elected him. Instead of pouting, we need to work together to address the implementation pains of the ACA.
Again it is the POTUS that is using the tactic - not the House of Representatives. All he has to do is sign the budget presented, but he can not get his way and puts people out of work. Seems like an arrogant cuss if you ask me. Hopefully he will listen to the 60% to 80% and sign the budget.posted @ Tuesday, October 1, 2013 - 10:48
Regardless of their view of the ACA, polls show anywhere from 60% to 80% of Americans oppose using the threat of a gubbermint shutdown to repeal it. In the private sector, it's called extortion.
Then the POTUS needs to sign the budget presented to him by the House of Representatives; unfortunately, since he can not get his way he has chosen to shut down the government. It is a no brainer to me.posted @ Tuesday, October 1, 2013 - 10:28

When I went on an assignment to do a story about a K-9 training class in Oconee County on Tuesday, I never thought I?d experience a dog attack. But after some prodding by a couple of deputies, I put on the ?bite suit? dog handlers use to protect their bodies while training their K-9 partners. Actually, I was helped into the thick, stiff garment. At best, my attempts at walking seemed like the stiff movements of a robot from a 1950s movie. Our photographer, A.J. Reynolds, donned one as well and he actually seemed upbeat for the opportunity to face one of the dogs. read more
