I noticed that some news organizations I visit have before and after methhead pictures. The changes to a person's appearance is disgustingly amazing even after a few months use. Don't know if meth is a big problem here but if I was ever thinking about trying it those pictures would surely have changed my mind.
Perhaps the ABH should begin publishing similar pictures for methhead wannabes to ponder before they took this tragic step.posted @ Wednesday, February 20, 2013 - 10:19
@As I See It:
There you go making assumptions about me, my character and about my political leanings. All wrong but I did notice you had rather use misplaced character judgement rather than addressing my original thesis: Another ghetto in the making.
As a kid visiting an area of Detroit I marveled at its beauty and how green and well kept it all was. Revisiting... make that driving through quickly... the same area a few years ago I couldn't help but wonder why and how such a beautiful place looked so forlorn and forgotten and from the garbage thrown everywhere why it looked like a dump. Where ever I've been assigned in the world one of my first missions was to have my people clean up the garbage and give the people there a sense of pride of community. Its amazing what changes a little direction and initiative can achieve without any government money being thrown in to sweeten the graft grabber's pockets.
And just to further your knowledge a praetorial was a sub counsul. Besides being a magistrate a counsul can be someone who represents commercial interests in another foreign country. Further that... A praetorial, acting as a sub counsul, often wrote fake indulgences for a fee so that the term eventually morphed to take on the connotation of fakery... but that's another whole story probably way over your head.posted @ Thursday, January 10, 2013 - 11:31
Great idea... Advance planning for another ghetto. Having once seen how neighborhoods that were once nice and thriving became slums within just a few years there the advance planning makes perfect sense. Lets face it.... They'd rather live in a sty. No civic pride at all.posted @ Thursday, January 10, 2013 - 08:54
@STATE OF DENIAL: Have been overseas most of last 20 year and don't know the Dr. Sasha story but from the pictures I'll guess she wasn't what she seemed to be either.posted @ Monday, December 31, 2012 - 08:10
If this guy is so well known that even the postings here are able to identify him then it seems to me that Georgia needs to begin thinking about a three strikes law to keep these creeps off the street. After reading other headlines here this morning it appears that justice in Athens from the liberal judicial system is biased towards the perps instead seeking revenge for the victims so let's remove the punishment decisions from the judge and instead make it mandatory that these hyenas are kept off our streets... permanently!
Furthering that... Knowing only the bibical definition I'd like someone to tell me what is the modern definition of justice if its not revenge?posted @ Saturday, December 29, 2012 - 09:32
@harrumph: If we are to export him let's send him to any number of west African countries where gun ownership is strictly enforced. After working in various West African countries for the last 10 years I must admit... I NEVER felt safe.posted @ Tuesday, December 25, 2012 - 12:25
Defence: British variant of defense. Evidently Been Grim has at some point in his life been Brit so his statement that the 73 year old may have been fearful for his life is odd given the Brit's take on gun violence.
But perhaps Been has been confronted by a 65 year old woman before and knows how sneaky and violent they can be when their car is struck by a careless wheelchair driver.posted @ Friday, December 21, 2012 - 12:02
@matt1141a: Please understand my confusion: These evil turkeys do their crimes over and over and over without penalty and the when caught doing something really horrible they will probably end up having me an you pay for their housing and upkeep for years to come because we make such a big deal about the death penalty... Why wasn't the Jackson County Sheriff who shot the turkey sent to pick them up.posted @ Tuesday, December 18, 2012 - 21:17
Doesn't ebbtide mean the tide is going out? If UGA plays as hard and as mean as they did against Florida your tide will definitely be going out, hat in hand, head hung low.posted @ Friday, November 30, 2012 - 08:45
