@Bishop59: I want to be nice to you because obviously you don' know much about high school athletics in Athens or most anything else. While Amp was a good athlete at the Cedar, he is no match to Quentin Mosesposted @ Wednesday, December 26, 2012 - 17:44
@Bishop59: Oh, so you are using capital letters you must be yelling at me. By the way, at least the coach knows how to use proper punctuation in his written communications. Calm down there is no reason to get upset. I know your type. You are always watching Fox and listening to Rush and think everything is win/lose. Maybe that is why your guy just lost the election again.posted @ Friday, November 16, 2012 - 19:07
@Bishop59: What is your problem? I have seen many of your negative comments for a long time and decided you need to hear from me. You are always advocating the firing of a fine man who has done so much to help develop the youth at Oconee. The team's won/loss record is not that important. It truly is how you play the game. If you are so concerned why don't you apply for the job? Your type is always on the sidelines making comments never in the game trying to make good things happen.posted @ Friday, November 16, 2012 - 16:50

Instead, she sent over this statement Wednesday morning and she did not mince her words. (Links and italicized portions are my own; otherwise, it's as she wrote it.) Dear Friends: read more
The committee opted Tuesday night to put off deciding on the ordinance until, at the earliest, its next meeting. Of note: The Athens-Clarke County attorney highlighted that the proposed times are, in essence, placeholders for the commission to change or keep as it pleases.
