That little brain gets us into so much trouble. Someone needs to invent a pill to put it to sleep and to wake it up whenever we want.posted @ Monday, October 21, 2013 - 11:51

Zimmerman may not be as guilty as the lawmakers who were responsible for Florida's stand your ground law. Had this moron neighborhood watchman not had this ridiculous law at his back, he would have kept his gun on his hip.posted @ Saturday, July 13, 2013 - 21:31

I'm pretty sure that we've had our fair share of non black store burglars in Athens recently. Don't be an idiot.posted @ Friday, July 5, 2013 - 16:38
Smart burglar. At 40-60 dollars a carton, a burglar comes out a whole lot better just stuffing a trash bag full of cigarette cartons than he does going for cash. He'll sell them for half that on the street and still make a killing.posted @ Friday, July 5, 2013 - 01:09
Redneck GA politicians are about to kick their efforts to keep blacks and hispanics away from the polls into high gear now. They just got their green light. Sad day.posted @ Wednesday, June 26, 2013 - 08:21
The best thing that I can say about her is that she's not alone. Millions more just like her in this region of the country. She's just the one who's been outed.posted @ Wednesday, June 26, 2013 - 08:16
And now come the inevitable laws in redneck states like ours that will be designed to keep minorities away from the ballot. Politics stinks.posted @ Wednesday, June 26, 2013 - 07:15
Institutionalized. At least in jail no one can look down on him and he gets three squares and a bed. I dig it. Good job buddy.posted @ Wednesday, April 24, 2013 - 02:22
Very sad. Many people count on that church for daily meals. Not to be cynical, but this incident really coincides with neighborhood upgrades that are taking place in that neighborhood. Getting rid of that soup kitchen would also get rid of the homeless people who hang out on that street while waiting for a meal. Can't be good for property values. Also makes it more difficult to attract tenants for the newly built high end condos that are about to open right across the street. Fishy indeed.posted @ Tuesday, April 16, 2013 - 00:51
Sounds like the workers were just doing their jobs. Was it the policy of the company to give out free food?posted @ Saturday, April 6, 2013 - 10:47

There will always be an element of society that tries to get over. Just as members of the rich hire lawyers and accountants to circumvent the tax and legal system, members of the poor also figure out ways to take advantage of holes in these welfare programs. Human nature. Just don't target the poor only though. Target rich cheaters as well.posted @ Saturday, March 16, 2013 - 02:33
Realist - Evil can't be banned.
No, but we can make it more difficult for evil to do it's business. I can't help but think that these mass murders would have less mass in them if the killers didn't have access to military grade semi-automatic assault weapons. Many of them would probably just stay home if they didn't have these type weapons in their possessions. The only purpose that these type weapons have in life is in the rare occasion of an alien invasion or the zombie apocalypse.posted @ Sunday, December 30, 2012 - 00:07
Summary: I'm not saying it's lonely to be a movie critic, but we often find ourselves seated alone in an empty theatre when we're watching new stuff. I know people who say they won't go see anything unless they have at least one other person to go with, but I've always enjoyed having the place to myself.
