@E.J.: Go to the library, check out a bag of books and when you can't sleep at night read instead of posting endless comments about everything in the world. You will be a much better person for it.

You won't be laughing when me and my family are using 2 ply and you and the rest of the trusting souls will be using kudzu leaves. After a few weeks of dragging your butt across the yard like a dog you're gonna be glad to pay me $10 roll. And it won't be the good stuff either. Thin single ply forty grit like you find in public restrooms.
posted @ Tuesday, May 21, 2013 - 20:52@E.J.: Just because they don't interest you dosen't mean they don't interest other people that would use the room after you are gone. How would you like to find out after your stay that there were things close by that you would like to have seen or done but you didn't know about them because some jerk used the fliers to start a fire with? Kinda puts you right in there with the PSOB don't it?

Recreational drugs are done for recreation. Like golf or fishing. I think I had rather trip on acid than play golf.
I promise not to call you names and I don't waste my time on your links. Happy now?

One should never use something like this for a ploitical platform. Not the time or the place. Be glad that nobody got hurt and pray that she gets help.
BTW I heard about the young man in Oconee county. Too sad for words.
Were any liberal organizations the target of the IRS? If so which ones? Do liberal groups get a pass? Is it because conservative groups don't support the president?

I don't think you would see anyone make any kind of stupid comment like your's about someone that took their own life. There are some things that you just don't do out of manners, respect and just plain common sense. Three things that you are clearly lacking.

Rep. Regina Quick, R-Athens, was one of two local delegates to score less than an "A+" in the Chamber of Commerce's annual legislative score card. She and I played phone tag Monday when I was reporting the story and I wasn't able to get her comments in a timely fashion. Instead, she sent over this statement Wednesday morning and she did not mince her words. (Links and italicized portions are my own; otherwise, it's as she wrote it.) Dear Friends: read more

The committee opted Tuesday night to put off deciding on the ordinance until, at the earliest, its next meeting. Of note: The Athens-Clarke County attorney highlighted that the proposed times are, in essence, placeholders for the commission to change or keep as it pleases.
