Wild turkey fatally shot after attacking Jackson County deputy
LocPac - This story was published for one purpose only, to embarrass this deputy and make him look bad. That is proven by the comments it has generated. Thanks liberal news media. Typical non-news hype. Absolutely ridiculous.
Insight is my opinion why this story was printed...An individual in a position of authority, that doesn't have common sense in dealing with an unusual situation, needs to not have said authority...Civil Lawsuit waiting to happen.

Oconee sheriff on routine patrol nabs four metal theft suspects

"Quote" Oconee County Sheriff Scott Berry said he knew something wasn’t right when he saw a pickup loaded with metal piled higher than the cab exiting a dirt road north of Watkinsville...

If it had not been"... a pickup loaded with metal piled higher than the cab..."then would there been an arrest??

Judge revokes Lohan's probation, sets hearing date
Long Sufferer - Boy, what a gig that Shawn Holley's (her lawyer) got. Can you imagine how much his retainer must be? I could probably live for 20 year off a month's worth. Must say though, he seems worth it considering how often she's gotten off.
Amen. Anyone else(common folk) would have been taken into custody with the revocation...

Clarke Co. Inmate's death ruled natural causes
ntjoking - when attending the funeral remember to keep your car doors locked, and do hide all valuables including your weapons so the other outstanding citizens others cant see them
There will be no need to lock up your "valuables" should you have the decency to come show your RESPECT for Nate or his family, as it will be a Memorial Service, and will be ample LEO attending, therefore "other outstanding citizens" needn't concern themselves with weapons where they are not needed.(You need to get a life and evidently were not taught about respect...)

Authorities awaiting autopsy in death of Clarke County Jail inmate

As the story unfolds
RightWingExtremist - @me365: Like I told someone else yesterday. Don't do anything stupid enough to get put there in the first place and you won't have anything to worry about.
Have you ever heard of "WRONGFUL INCARCERATION", or "MIS-IDENTIFICATION...??or even a case of dislike by a certain person of authority can cause you " to get put there in the first place... "

As the story unfolds, you can see Nate was a terrible individual that was a complete terror to ACC, (...and being known, down-trodden and looking for assistance from a couple of citizens to get enough to eat(since we all know $4.00 & change might almost buy a lunch snack), Panhandling landed him in jail...Now he became a drain on ACC ?? Well no longer...

R.I.P.Nathaniel Howard Jr. Prayers out for Family and friends for closure.

Clarke County Jail inmate dies
JackP32 - Apparently, there are several x-cons posting on this story with outrageous accusations. As a whole, cons and x-cons are liars on the same level as politicians.

Clarke County Jail inmate dies
FairFacts - Nathaniel Howard was a local homeless man with a LENGTHY criminal history including violent crime and cocaine possession. He is in a better place now I can only hope. One less drain on our local economy.
This may be partly true...If there is a "better place", then Nate is there. His character and lifestyle was set by actions made at an early age that haunted him during his life(for what life he had...)Cocaine possesion, possesion of a mind altering drug; violent crime, the description of what allegedly occurred by those affected regardless of the role they played prior to. If you don't know you shouldn't speculate nor assume...

"One less drain on our local economy"?? He was in fact homeless, without assistance from society, so where was he a DRAIN??

The tradgy here is a fellow human has passed and the general public is so opionated they choose to degrade and accuse as opposed to being compassionate...SHAMEFUL
