Surprised there is no mention of the billboard about this issue located across the street from the Barnett Shoals Road.

With you? Not a chance.
@louie53: @davidxto:
No worries, both of us (groups) love our country. Ours just happens to be the USA, yours is Israel. Nothing wrong with that. Just don't be surprised when we scoff at your desire to send our sons and daughters to die in your holy wars, and to have us foot the bill.
posted @ Friday, May 18, 2012 - 11:42
louie53 - You continuously and selectively single out Israel with your 'fiscally responsible patriotism'
It is neither continuous nor exclusive to Israel. But your knee jerk defense always seems to be.
louie53 - Due to your irrational annoyance with Israel exclusively
Again, not exclusive, you just percieve it that way due to your extreme pro-Israel bias.
louie53 - it's a fair conclusion to draw
Actually, it absolutely isn't. It's an unfair conclusion to draw, but not unexpected given your blatant one sided viewing of Israel. Like I said before, so predictable.
posted @ Friday, May 18, 2012 - 11:36
louie53 - A sickly green shade of jealousy
It's not jealousy darling, it's called fiscal responsibility and patriotism. I just know that money could be better spent helping Americans instead of religious wing nuts.
And of course, you and David call anyone who doesn't pull Israel's line an anti-semite. Well, you don't actually call them that straight out, I guess neither of you have the courage to actually say what you think, just hint around the edges. Talk about predictable!

It's funny how so many use the Boortz baby whine style whenever the word racist is used. So many unoriginal bigots around here. Can't you be more creative with your hatred? Just for the entertainment value, please?

posted @ Friday, May 18, 2012 - 08:45This sidewalk blocking is nonsense. The sidewalks are much more blocked by restuarants with little iron fences. Those restaruant areas block much more than the occupiers ever did. This is about silencing a group the officials disagree with, plain and simple.
posted @ Friday, May 18, 2012 - 08:11There simply are too many chiefs pulling in fat paychecks, and too few indians actually working with the students. Trouble is, those with the ability to make the needed changes have no incentive to make them. The school district salaries are way too top heavy, it is very obvious where the cuts should come from. Showing up at the meetings isn't going to convince these "leaders".

You apparently have not read many of the posts on the ABH or AT. Racism still is rampant in this area.

I don't think so. Remember, I call our current president Bush III, I have no problem making fun of him. Put Romney in those photos and its still lame.

The only funny thing about it for me was that the RNC used the same exact photo for each of the numerous historical shots. That's not funny, that's just lazy. There are so many goofy/well timed/weird facial expression shots of the modern presidents they could of used to comedic effect, why use one shot of him walking for every single photoshop?

They'll just lock them out of the meeting. Much like our Mayor and commission, they don't want to hear anything from anyone who disagrees, and will take steps (changing laws, unprecidented blocking of shareholders from meetings, etc. etc. etc.) to stop the public from being able to express their views.

Summary: Over the past few weeks I've noticed a change to the ATM I visit on West Broad in front of Five Guys. It's a Bank of America ATM and the main reason I like it is because there is only a $2 fee to use it. Over the past few weeks I've noticed a change to the ATM I visit on West Broad in front of Five Guys. It's a Bank of America ATM and the main reason I like it is because there is only a $2 fee to use it. The last few times I visited the ATM, I put my card in the slot and the ATM immediatley gave me the card back. I was a little alarmed at first and tried to put the card back in but the screen prompted me to input my PIN number instead. I was able to complete my transaction but it threw me out of my comfort zone. read more
