why is this topic STILL part of political discourse? Aren't there more important topics with which to divide the nation?

Maybe not, but they might be able to determine that a truckload of funeral urns or 3/4s of the copper from a heating unit might be suspect. Especially if it's the same people selling it to them each time.

I was popular under the bleachers, but it was with a cheerleader, and a really hot college girl who was student teaching one year.
"thou doth protest too much." Perhaps it's you we need to be worried about being a closet, not Avenger.

"Leads, yeah, sure. I'll just check with the boys down at the crime lab, they've got four more detectives working on the case. They got us working in shifts!"
bummer.
posted @ Wednesday, February 8, 2012 - 09:42At least the development would be in Athens instead of on 316.
While I don't necessarily want a Wally World downtown, the boost to the tax revenue from the whole development would be a welcomed addition.
For once it would be nice to know some of that money could stay in Clarke and go to improving things like schools.
Or... we could just push the development over to Oconee and land it on 316.

Thank goodness for the Police Blotter. Otherwise there wouldn't be ANY local news in the paper anymore.

Rome is burning!
@Shawn OKelley: perhaps it's the same reason folks such as yourself love to forget the damage our beloved cowboy did for 8 years. Too much 24 hour news cycle and worthless soundbites.
posted @ Wednesday, August 3, 2011 - 08:20@Shawn OKelley: agreed. Except, back on the discussion at hand, this vote was tipped by a minority for political gains.

you should be more concerned with the social programs of China. We've allowed a non-hostile takeover of our country due to jobs outsourcing and one-sided trade deals for years.

However in singling out democrats and then referring to all politicians, your argument is moot.
By the way, $250,000 is a lot of money.

Summary: Over the past few weeks I've noticed a change to the ATM I visit on West Broad in front of Five Guys. It's a Bank of America ATM and the main reason I like it is because there is only a $2 fee to use it. Over the past few weeks I've noticed a change to the ATM I visit on West Broad in front of Five Guys. It's a Bank of America ATM and the main reason I like it is because there is only a $2 fee to use it. The last few times I visited the ATM, I put my card in the slot and the ATM immediatley gave me the card back. I was a little alarmed at first and tried to put the card back in but the screen prompted me to input my PIN number instead. I was able to complete my transaction but it threw me out of my comfort zone. read more
