LA Clippers owner Donald Sterling banned for life by the NBA

Mike Judge, the man behind Beavis & Butt-Head and King of the Hill and Idiocracy, has repeatedly stated that his 2006 movie Idiocracy, which depicted a dystopic futuristic society populated by morons, is already unfolding.

Judge has said that his parents raised him to be a liberal but he doesn’t feel comfortable describing himself as a Democrat or a Republican because the two extremes of partisanship resemble a “religion”.

Mike Judge has also stated that he had become “interested in smaller government kind of thinking” since he began building his own projects and was getting “penalized left and right” by the system as a result.

Magic Johnson: Now let's hope that the other 29 (NBA) owners do the right thing

James Brown, aka Jim Brown said something interesting about all the silliness of dancing and race. He said that modern black athletes are the "most embarrassing collection of individuals I've ever known."

"When you see the Willie Lynch syndrome being acted out. The buffoonery. The things we fought to get away: the stereotypical gestures. The rolling of the eyes, the dancing, and all the Walt Disney stereotypical racial disgraces. You wonder how these individuals can be so stupid not to understand how the general public is looking at them. Yeah, I said that many times and I've said that to them. I don't think that it's cute. I don't think the majority of the fans in stands think it's cute. I think it's like chasing the shadow of the rabbit instead of the rabbit. Entertainment was always used in slave quarters. In fact, they used to take fighters, blindfold them, put everybody in the ring, and let you fight until the last guy was standing. They'd be sitting around the ring in tuxedos, with their women and jewelry. That was entertainment, boss. If you study history, you don't want to emulate the things that were degrading and humiliating. The humiliation was unreal. Now, guys are voluntarily playing the yes-a-boss slave. Yeah, that's embarrassing to me. To think in this day in age, these young men would be out there shaking their butts and not knowing much of anything else. Not understanding the dignity of a man and how to play a game and play it hard and let that speak for yourself. There's no debating this conversation. Anybody that takes the other side has got to be an enemy. Any man that would teach his son that that's the thing to do should be arrested. ..."--Jim Brown
W.B. - Good! Now he will have plenty of time to go out to Nevada and pal around with another sorry excuse of a human, Cliven Bundy. I'm sure between the two of them they can persuade their cronies at Faux "news" to come out and report on how they are being unfairly persecuted.

snarkydude - We have the possibility of a war in the Ukraine, Israel and the Palestinians are boiling over every day, Iran is trying to refine enough uranium to get a nuclear weapon, North Korea threatens South Korea constantly, we still have record unemployment in this country, the economy is still foundering despite all the so-called "stimulus", the government is embroiled in scandals, we have the most astounding lack of leadership in the White House since the Carter era.......and people are wasting air time and newsprint to report on what one guy who happens to own a basketball team said about black people? Have we gone completely mad?
Who cares what this guy said? Who cares what Magic Johnson said? Don't go to the games. Don't watch them on TV. (I don't watch basketball anyway.) Let all his players quit. (Right....like they'll give up those salaries.)
Here's the bottom line: the media (propaganda arm of the left) will use any story they can to cause a racial stir and more racial division in this country. They know that the public will get embroiled in who said what to whom and when, and you'll quit paying attention to what a miserable job this president and his administration are doing running our country. So...you keep focused on what this guy said. I heard he didn't like eskimos, either. The media is doing an excellent job of diverting your attention away from the fact that we need to make some real changes in November.
Snarkydude, Thank you.

Thank you. It is so sad that we seem to live in "Idiocracy". Thank you for your thoughts. You are absolutely correct.

Colorado health director warns Georgia families to beware 'miracle cure' marijuana

Families migrating to Colorado for a medical marijuana miracle
http://www.sltrib.com/sltrib/news/57052556-78/piper-annie-seizures-cbd.h...

"The most popular case is Charlotte Figi, the subject of Dr. Gupta’s documentary. Charlotte was diagnosed with Dravet syndrome, an intractable epileptic condition which caused 300 grand mal seizures a week. Like Zaki, no pharmaceutical options worked to control her seizures at all. After the first dose of high-CBD oil, Charlotte stopped having seizures. Within months, she was down to less than three minor seizures a month, with concurrent improvements in cognition and behavior."--Justin Kander, Medical Jane

"Radical successes like these are not outliers – they are the norm with cannabis extract treatment. Dr. Margaret Gedde, a Colorado Springs physician, is tracking 11 new Realm of Caring patients. She reported that 9 of them experienced 90-100% reductions in seizures, apparently within just weeks of starting the oil."--Justin Kander, Medical Jane

Small plane makes emergency landing on Commerce highway

@fixit:

Thank you for posting that. When I first skimmed this article, without reading it, I was concerned that the pilot was Larry Harper.

But I don't think so. He is a combat veteran from Vietnam, flying hueys, a Scout Master, has a fixed wing license, and is extremely active in the Boy Scouts. So thanks a lot for the research. I learned about the flightaware.com today! Thanks!

In the age of information, ignorance is a choice.

Be proactive and perform due diligence.

You are giving your power away to an authority figure if you take everything they say at face value and run with it.

You are making yourself available to be victimized by profiteering corporations because they have an ulterior motive and that is profit, and you need to be aware of that."---Gwendolyn Leslie Olsen.

Athens teacher arrested for growing marijuana says it was for medicinal reasons

@Used2baFreeCountry:

Big smile

Haha! Okay, thanks! I'm just feeling touchy today and acting crazy!

I need to watch Monty Python's "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life" on youtube.

"Some things in life are bad
They can really make you sad
Other things just make you swear and curse
When you're chewing on life's gristle
Don't grumble, give a whistle
And this'll help things turn out for the best...
And......always look on the bright side
of life..."

Any way, I don't wish to take away from Mr. LePage's troubles with my silliness. I know that I get carried away posting image and video after image and video.

Mr LePage is certainly braver than me and showing more courage. I suffer from post-traumatic epilepsy. But I keep talking about CBD oil and edibles with others, and I am thinking of moving to Washington State. But Mr. LePage has not moved, he is staying and fighting. He is a leader in changing Georgia's laws, along with the ones who will serve as jurors in his trial.

I'm really sorry for his troubles, but he is making a stand, and he is tough. I know that he will we looked at as a leader and hero after this is over. I'm still a coward in so many ways in this life, but Mr. LePage is not. I respect him.
