Makes me mad. It's a simple 300 word story that I've given the Athens Banner. All they have to do is just a little bit of work. Simple enough.
I always appreciate your words, Grove600. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.posted @ Thursday, June 5, 2014 - 01:58
I don't live over there. Doesn't anyone live over there and care? What about a potential civil lawsuit? What if a jury finds the bank manager 5 percent at fault? Negligence suit? It could happen. What about it?
What if Principal Lumpkin-Barnett is 10% at fault if there is a civil suit from a potential injury or death?
Mr. Morrissey, what if a civil jury finds the Athens Banner partially at fault for doing nothing in this matter and then someone is injured or killed?
Principal Lumpkin-Barnett, what do you say?

What gets me, is that folks seem to worship these celebrities. For instance, a talk show host takes off a week or two for Memorial Day. No one seems to notice.
I remember when it was a big deal when Johnny Carson took off on Mondays.
And used to, it seemed as if television shows were over 30 episodes per season. Now, it seems as if some shows are only 3-6 episodes per season.
And folks think that is normal.

The tools are irrelevant. The sick, disturbed violent person was the problem. He stabbed, shot, ran over, and ran into several people with his car. This was a violent rampage. Summary: I'm not saying it's lonely to be a movie critic, but we often find ourselves seated alone in an empty theatre when we're watching new stuff. I know people who say they won't go see anything unless they have at least one other person to go with, but I've always enjoyed having the place to myself.
