I think it is time for all children to sign up for the draft, not just the young men.
The penalities for refusing to sign are very serious, and should be shared by both sexies. If women think they deserve combat pay and promotion, they should also deserve the pentalies, for example no student loans, or any other government assistance.
Be careful what you ask for, you could just get it. Equal treatment under the Law.posted @ Friday, January 25, 2013 - 13:49

To the union worker that made the comment, he could make more money on unemployment than working for Hostess. Just carry your sign for another 99 weeks, apply for an EBT card, put your family into Medicaid, all at the expence or the TAX PAYER, then get another job with a producer.posted @ Wednesday, November 21, 2012 - 15:15
Why is the CDC reporting on abortions, are they saying becomeing pregnant is now a desease, kind of like when they got into the gun death business back in the Clinton era.
I am sure HHS has more than enough people to do these studies, and let the CDC worry about GERMS.posted @ Wednesday, November 21, 2012 - 14:54
Typical UGA research, every lose of wildlife is mans fault......
Quail have almost vanished from this state, now turkey, however the predators have increased every year without a study to reduce their populations. Come on guys, NASCAR uses E-15 in there race cars......but wait those engines only last for about 600 miles at best before they are replaced.
Small engines last about a year on corn gas, unless you keep the fuel system clean with a carb cleaner.....and if you leave that crap in the tanks over the winter, then your going to need bredsouthern to clean it out.posted @ Friday, October 26, 2012 - 11:48

If you live in a household with granny, pay your fair share, and there would not be a need for assistance.

@Follow the Money: If you took the time to watch C-SPSN II, you would find that there have been 30+ energy and jobs bills that were approved by the House of Representives and when they came to the Senate, Harry Reid would object to them and place them on some future calender where they could not be voted on. The question is was he afraid they would past and force the president to veto them, or protecting the democrat senators from hard votes or BOTH.posted @ Tuesday, September 4, 2012 - 17:15
@OconeeDawg: The numbers used by the DNC do not take into account the 10,000 Americans that retire each day or become disabled.
When you subtract those jobs you have an additional 9.125 millon out of the work force, and at the least, you have a 4.6 million job loss not gain.

Summary: Fun facts: The first-ever Oscar ceremony, held in 1929, ran a brisk 15 minutes. By contrast, the longest was in 2002, clocking in at a monstrous 4 hours and change. As usual, there are things I loved about it and things I didn't. Rather than be snarky or complain, I'll offer a few suggestions on how the organizers might bring the show into the 21st century.
