And then I remember, we humans will swallow any amount of bilgewater and horsesh!t, if swallowing it means "Life *After* Death", in "heaven". We are scared to death of our own mortality.

3. The myths and neuroses of our personal childhood, like the myths and neuroses of our species' childhood, linger long past their "use by" date. Rather than being "born again" into a perpetual child-like status, let us "grow up" and become spiritually autonomous creatures. And let's send ALL of the rabbis, priests, imams, ministers, televangelists, and other hucksters to the unemployment rolls.

When the candidates are this closely bunched, look to see one of them engage in some seriously deranged teanderthal a$$holery to separate himself/herself from the pack, and to lock in the mean-spirited GOP Primary base.
