Part of my brain PHart. Wilson and Roosevelt were both Democrats.
I don't believe party affiliation plays a big role in what people react to.
It's the times and circumstances they are forced to face.
There is plenty of blame to go around.

S. Korean "Government" Urged to Opt for Improving Inter-Korean Relations
Pyongyang, June 14 (KCNA) -- The Solidarity for Democracy, People's Life, Peaceful Reunification and Sovereignty of south Korea issued an urgent statement on Tuesday condemning the puppet group for making the talks between the authorities of the north and the south abortive.
Surprise south-north dialogue proved abortive due to the thoughtless attitude of the present "government", the statement charged.
The south and the north were recently wrapped in an atmosphere of dialogue following the north's proposal for dialogue, a result of a measure taken by the north out of concession, it said, and went on:
However, the Park Geun Hye's "government" raised the inscrutable issue of "level", barring the north from sending its delegation.
The present "government" showed the inscrutable attitude at the working contact.
It should bear responsibility for the situation, back down on the unreasonable demand at an early date and work hard for the opening of the talks between the authorities of the north and the south.
The present-day's phase of dialogue requires utmost discretion based on mutual respect and recognition.
The "government" should work hard to make sure that the talks be opened and held with success.
It should realize that if it evades the blame and scuttle the talks, it will have to stand trial by the people.
We demand the "government" opt for mending the south-north ties.
The "government" should bring the situation under control and take another step for holding a south-north dialogue.

As a huge Backstreet Boys fan, I was little perplexed on reading Nick Carter?s book. It?s not like reading a book about Elvis Presley or The Beatles. I didn?t live through those moments. I didn?t see them in person. But as someone who has followed Nick?s career since I became a fan in 1998, not just in the Backstreet Boys, but as a solo artist, I?ve always thought we had a lot in common besides being the same age. read more

The Athens Banner-Herald sports staff combined to win 11 individual awards on Sunday at the Georgia Sports Writers Association's annual meeting in Marietta. You can get a few more details on that in this story ? "Banner-Herald sports staff wins 11 awards" ? and I thought I'd provide some links to the winning stories for the curious. The awards were for the sports staff's work in 2012. read more
