The rape happened on July 30 and he was arrested for it on July 1. Now that's good police work or bad newspaper work.

Parents fuming over locked doors at graduation
Ferrol Katz - Spelman says that's their standard security protocol, and they've been putting the information out all year. If so, there's not really anything to discuss.
Besides, the graduates didn't want their parents there anyway. If they had wanted them there, they would have told them about the early lock-down. The students had known about it all year.

What nationality is he? He has an Italian-Mexican-American name. I think that is just a front. He's probably something else.

Where did you read that this guy is in the US illegally? That's not mentioned anywhere in the article I read.
Ohhh, that's right. You made it up.

If you say he is in the country illegally, more than likely you're right. If you say he is in the country legally, more than likely you're wrong.
hack - For the trust, key goals of the project are to restore the creek’s ecosystem and “really reconnect people with nature, with something positive.”
Nobody has built there because it floods. I have an idea!!! Lets get a bunch of people who care about the earth and the environment to clean it up for free !!!
Then the city governments and politicians can bask in the limelight... and spend the money on something more important like a golf course
Draft language of so-called curfew ordinance

Full text of the Use of Public Right-of-Ways ordinance draft is below. Highlight: Would set hours of operation of each Athens-Clarke County "building campus" -- e.g. City Hall, the courthouse and Dougherty Street government building -- at 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily. Park hours would either be set by the Athens-Clarke County manager or the Mayor and Commission. The ordinance has been derided by members of Occupy Athens and others as seeking to enforce a curfew on public property, thus damaging their First Amendment right to peacably assemble for long-term protests. read more
