why was the homeowner stupid enough to go outside when the police were on the way? He had a gun so he was going to be mr tough guy? What if the 72 yr old was more mentally alert, possibly even younger and had a gun of his own and used it first? Going outside was plain stupid!posted @ Thursday, November 28, 2013 - 21:30
@Joe Johnson: what about the bank? And how is a homeless guy , if he is, going to cash a check without a bank account and what bank will open an acct with him?posted @ Wednesday, November 27, 2013 - 00:39
@helligater69: sure - so he can then cash it - IF he has ID...kind of dumb in a way. If he's homeless, where is he supposed to open another bank acct?posted @ Wednesday, November 27, 2013 - 00:37
@Save our Republic: let it go. The daughter and father can still reunite if they want. It would seem it wouldn't have taken 20 yrs to locate her if the father had been really trying. We don't know the reason the mother left the country with the child to begin with - could have been abuse. We don't know the whole story.posted @ Sunday, November 24, 2013 - 16:10

So the police are suppose to wait till the weapon is fried at them just to make sure it is real.. Is that what you are saying?
oh, and don't forget to ask the person's age, too.

Wow, no bail, no probation. About time. Now what about swift justice? It's been nearly two years! Get this useless thug behind bars and keep him there for life. He will never be anything but a danger to the rest of us.
This was supposedly Jamie Hood's first crime, too (pizza driver robbery), he kept getting out , crime after crime, and look what happened. We need to keep these thugs inside, and forget all the probations which don't work.posted @ Friday, October 11, 2013 - 10:17

@Foghorn123: That may be - but drivers need to take more responsibility. Quit driving fast if the pavement is wet, stay off the dang phones, take in your surroundings, watch for the other guy and don't expect them to see you, Mechanical devices such as lights, etc, don't do the driving, only hope to help it. It is still us to us to be aware when behind the wheel. We could blame the auto manufacturers as well, for putting in all the new gadgets they have where you have to take your eyes off the road. Very few people get in the car any more and just drive, they get in, start talking on their phones, texting, changing radio stations, playing with this and that. Far too many distractions. It all boils down to humans and their lack of responsibility or common sense behind the wheel.posted @ Saturday, October 5, 2013 - 12:20
Stupid is as stupid does. Why not do the same for first responders and teachers. Ones who work harder and get paid less.
