My brother in law says he shaves what little hair he has left on his head because if not, it looks like he's got a cat wrapped -around- his head.
@thunderjar: You can visit his lovely photo over at the Clarke Co. jail website. He's still suckin off of the taxpayers here, for now.
This is one Weiner that needs to be canned.
It was probably the "bacon" thief, trying to throw us off.
(The snoozer must snore, not to hear the door.)
Well then. Just take your words and go home.
Politically Correct Name - This negates your entire attempt at an apology...
Last year, my sister was apologizing to me for lying, and lied during the apology. That's all it took. Sis, if you're reading this, now you know!!
RWE, if your waiting for "her" to comment, hell may freeze over. JMO. I did say welcome back but I guess that didn't count. 3 2 1 over n' out.

@snarkydude: I think he's already took that dirt road.
I know what oh-brother said on this article didn't get him the boot. Wonder what did?

BELIEVERS don't distinguish a church as being any different from any other building, especially if they are craving a drug, too! As sad as that may be.
We know what you mean.
The baby was found, as reported on the news this morning around 7:00 am.
@dinodungdan: I believe it was a bird.

Sure. Looking at the bottom of this "Post a new comment" box I see a button marked "Image". You need to find a direct link to the image. If you find an image on a page, but it has other text, right click on the image and you will have a small menu. Click on "open Image in new page". Copy that URL into the image box on abh and hit post.

I didn't know how either, so I tried on YOUR picture and labeled it Mel. When I went to "my pictures" to see if it was there, Lo and behold I had a picture of your HAT only. Not the little character. Old dawgs, new tricks.
@grove600: Joe quoted me, so I'm still in the game. Didn't realize the level of P.C. on the subject.
(The man stated he was Mexican, I was just backing him up.

Clean sweep!
Time clocks do have a way of telling the truth. If these people don't want to work, I'm sure there are people that would love these jobs. Buy and install the time clocks now. It'll never happen till someone makes it happen. Just do it!

Bingo. I take my grandchildren there to watch the planes come and go. The times we've been, there were UGA coaches etc. getting on or off each plane.

posted @ Thursday, May 16, 2013 - 15:48@CharlotteLadyGardner: When my brother was young, he pulled into the path of a dump truck (Sun in his eyes) and the young man in the truck with him was injured badly. The young guy would be a vegetable for life. The Ins. Co. called my father to inform him they were canceling his insurance so my father in turn called the injured guys mother and told her to sue his (my fathers) insurance company. I know they were awarded no less than a million dollars and I'm pretty sure that didn't include his medical bills which were also paid by the Ins. Co. Same thing should be done here.
posted @ Thursday, May 16, 2013 - 12:34I would hope that Mr. Heatons Insurance Company would be paying for all of Emily's medical bills. Surely her family is sueing them, as they should be.

Thanks, but no thanks!

Rep. Regina Quick, R-Athens, was one of two local delegates to score less than an "A+" in the Chamber of Commerce's annual legislative score card. She and I played phone tag Monday when I was reporting the story and I wasn't able to get her comments in a timely fashion. Instead, she sent over this statement Wednesday morning and she did not mince her words. (Links and italicized portions are my own; otherwise, it's as she wrote it.) Dear Friends: read more

The committee opted Tuesday night to put off deciding on the ordinance until, at the earliest, its next meeting. Of note: The Athens-Clarke County attorney highlighted that the proposed times are, in essence, placeholders for the commission to change or keep as it pleases.
