Athens to Sparta would also set-up a little history lesson if anyone cared to do it. Overall it sounds like a wonderful lesson and good way to inspire young minds..

posted @ Saturday, May 18, 2013 - 14:57Not commenting on this particular listing but I was wondering if the police just take the word of the injured party as to the value of the objects stolen from them. Sometimes the listed value seems way out of line with reality.
posted @ Wednesday, May 15, 2013 - 14:18That this despicable sub-human was allowed to murder newborn babies for 31 years is a black mark on our culture as well as our legal system. I can think of no punishment that would be severe for him. And I have a really good imagination.

posted @ Tuesday, May 14, 2013 - 14:54Obviously they don't consider a US Rep. to be a higher office or position. And considering the congress's popularity maybe they're correct.
posted @ Tuesday, May 14, 2013 - 14:44By the way Maryland people consider themselves southerners. They will inform you that they are below the Mason Dixon line. Was news to me too.
posted @ Tuesday, May 14, 2013 - 12:26Why we continue to pay 22% of the budget for this absurd assemblage of anti-American fools is beyond me.

posted @ Tuesday, May 14, 2013 - 11:50Well ElevatorLoad, the Man sounded fairly normal to me. Now Chuck there, he sounded both vulgar and angry. So what's your point?
posted @ Tuesday, May 14, 2013 - 11:48No. Republicans are really scared we're becoming a socialist state.

posted @ Tuesday, May 14, 2013 - 11:27Although it would be impossible to disagree more than I do with justice Ginsburg on almost all issues, I can see her point in this case. The ruling definitely established the starting point for the argument. I can well understand why she would have liked for the engagement to have been otherwise initiated.
posted @ Monday, May 13, 2013 - 16:55Maybe thy should make a move the other way too. Like giving out tickets for all the fatties riding the electric carts in the major stores like Krogers and Walmart.

posted @ Monday, May 13, 2013 - 14:18This team is just flat out manned. It's really that simple. The reasons for this may well have multiple causes. The absurd requirements resulting from Title Nine that force partial scholarships to be awarded causes good players to move to other sports. However, all schools are in the same situation there so I'll let that one drop. What I see as the primary reason is that our facilities are drastically outclassed by the other schools we compete against. Nearly all of them having upgraded recently. Potential players visiting here can only get discouraged by what they see and there appears to be no plans on the books to change this perception. As long as we play in quaint Foley field I anticipate this season being typical of future outcome. This regardless if Perno is retained or not.
