@Anonymous Dude: No school is 100% perfect, but I doubt that our area private schools have problems like the one described in this story.

The BSA didn't "make" those loyal contributing members lie. They chose to lie when they applied for membership in an organization that clearly stated its membership requirements and creeds, one of which is honesty.
Look at it like this: If I wanted to join the Girl Scouts and so I claimed that I was a girl so I could join, did the GSA force me to lie...or did I choose to lie?
Neg away...

That may be the case, but I seriously doubt this 63-year-old jogger was after their stash. These little monsters just took her down like a rabbit.

posted @ Tuesday, May 7, 2013 - 22:44Oh, I just saw where the dude is banned from the apartments, so criminal trespassing applies. I stand corrected.
@FairFacts: Possibly, but this article doesn't say the officer was in hot pursuit. The first paragraph states the officer merely saw a group of men hanging out and one of them ran inside. This information alone doesn't seem to support reasonable suspicion of a crime. There may be more to the story than is reported, but I'm commenting on what I'm reading.
posted @ Tuesday, May 7, 2013 - 15:05I'm sure not in support of this loser, but refusing to let an officer into your home isn't "hindering" him...it's exercising your Fourth Amendment rights.

"I think it says something for the institutions here that they are recognizing the error and trying to do right by patients."
I think it says something else that so-called trained medical professionals would routinely neglect to sanitize endoscopy instruments.

Full text of the Use of Public Right-of-Ways ordinance draft is below. Highlight: Would set hours of operation of each Athens-Clarke County "building campus" -- e.g. City Hall, the courthouse and Dougherty Street government building -- at 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily. Park hours would either be set by the Athens-Clarke County manager or the Mayor and Commission. The ordinance has been derided by members of Occupy Athens and others as seeking to enforce a curfew on public property, thus damaging their First Amendment right to peacably assemble for long-term protests. read more
