Tebow for President?

February 5, 2012

Forget Romney. Forget Gingrich. Forget Obama. The people have spoken and they want... Tebow!

According to a Reuters/Ipsos poll, voters (1 out of 4) would choose Tebow to be President of the United States over the other candidates.

Read more about the poll at reuters.com.

Forget the fact that he is too young to run.  Have voters found their perfect candidate?

Are voters really interested in having a person like Tebow in office or are voters just sick and tired of the politicians running?

Could this be a backlash from evangelicals who feel that none of the candidates represent their values?

Based on the current politicians in the ring, would you vote for Tebow?

Draft language of so-called curfew ordinance

Full text of the Use of Public Right-of-Ways ordinance draft is below. Highlight: Would set hours of operation of each Athens-Clarke County "building campus" -- e.g. City Hall, the courthouse and Dougherty Street government building -- at 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily. Park hours would either be set by the Athens-Clarke County manager or the Mayor and Commission. The ordinance has been derided by members of Occupy Athens and others as seeking to enforce a curfew on public property, thus damaging their First Amendment right to peacably assemble for long-term protests. read more
