Starbucks to sell beer and wine in Atlanta locations

Starbucks has plans to expand their menu to include include all of your vices. The cafes are exploring adding beer, wine, and gourmet snacks to some Atlanta and Southern California locations. Starbucks has offered these menu additions in some of their Seattle cafes since October 2010.
Do you think the additions will stick in Atlanta? Coffee and alcohol seems like a weird combination to offer but if anyone could pull it off, it would be Starbucks. Starbucks addicts can now start their day with a latte and and it with some Pinot all without leaving the cafe!

Chuck Williams wants your money
AuedState Rep. Chuck Williams, R-Watkinsville, is holding two fundraisers next week, indicating that he expects to have opposition either in July or November. The fundraisers are scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Monday at the Holiday Inn in downtown Athens and Tuesday at Springhill Suites in Oconee County. He's asking for a $100, $250 or $500 donation, but contributions aren't necessary to attend. Secretary of State Brian Kemp, Agriculture Commissioner Gary Black, Insurance Commissioner Ralph Hudgens and state Sen. Bill Cowsert, R-Athens, are the hosts. read more
