Republicans and Democrats bond over immigration

In a speech today, Obama presented his vision for immigration reform.
He plans to act swiftly, capitalizing on strong bipartisan support for the change. In the speech he hinted at some elements that might heat up the debate. For example, he mentioned that there must be a path for illegal immigrants to gain full citizenship.
Although not mentioned in the speech, the White House is proposing that same-sex couples be treated the same as others. This means that their relationship could be valid to obtain a visa.
He also proposed tightening security on borders and cracking down on employers who hire undocumented workers. He also emphasized issuing more visas to ease the amount of backlogging that occurs with people applying for work legal status.

Strength of schedule `off the chart' for Georgia in 2014
WeiszerGeorgia athletic director Greg McGarity expects the 2014 football schedule to be released later this month at the Southeastern Conference spring meeting in Destin, Fla. The remaining SEC West opponent for Georgia is the big reveal. McGarity said he saw ?models? of the ?14 schedule in a meeting of conference athletic directors last week in Jacksonville, but that it?s still under review.
