Obama to Marry Dude!!

May 9, 2012

Oh, now that's just weird!

http://www.nytimes.com/2012/05/10/us/politics/obama-says-same-sex-marria...

Not, I might add, that PBO is "for" gay marriage.

What's weird about it to me is that it won't be long before Romney and Paul, or whoever is left on the GOP side, say they are for it too. "I don't care!" Ron Paul would say, "And, if they want to, they can hit a bong at the reception!"

I figured all this was going to happen. After all, it is an election year and the politicians are simply insane.

On the gay marriage thing, the King doesn't really care, either.

But when a sitting President believes he can trump the foundations of the Republic and savage the separation of powers; and when he fails to realize or appreciate the very great damage and destruction that can do to our country, then I have a little problem with that!

It's a state issue, PBO.

And I know plenty of the Obama supporters don't care about the separation of powers or the organization of the Republic. They are MOSTLY the kind of folks who want to show their contempt for all others, run rough shod, and be handed or given the fruits of others labor.

Just try that, and see where it gets you!

We will! We will! Sick

    Blog: Watching movies by myself

Summary:  I'm not saying it's lonely to be a movie critic, but we often find ourselves seated alone in an empty theatre when we're watching new stuff. I know people who say they won't go see anything unless they have at least one other person to go with, but I've always enjoyed having the place to myself. No cartoons on racism

As you might imagine, the vast majority of the editorial cartoons available these days for publication through the syndicate which supplies cartoons to the Athens Banner-Herald/OnlineAthens are addressing the situation in Ferguson, Mo., where the fatal shooting of a black teen by a white police officer has touched off a number of demonstrations -- some peaceful, but many not at all peaceful, with tear gas fired by police officers and gunshots fired by some protester. read more
