Highly trained and experienced individuals are the answer to real security. Schools are targeted for their lack of security and for the high profile media coverage. Schools are easy targets and what I call Coward Kill Zones.

Teachers should not be expected to be proficient with weapons to the point of defending and counter assaulting armed killers. Once schools are protected, the cowards will find other targets with weaker security, that's how it works.

When there are armed citizens, there is less opportunity for cowards to prey on defenseless people. It is proven armed citizens reduce violent crime.

However, I support increased training requirements and qualifications for concealed carry.
