@Ben Had: The key word in this is "violence". More focus should be put on what causes it that anything else but then another can of worms will be opened up and a ban on some firearms is the easy way out. It won't solve the problems but it will make some people think they have done a great thing and all will be right in the world.

I fell that we who abide by the law should be able to protect ourselves from the ones that act like they still live in trees.

    UPDATED: Draft language of so-called curfew ordinance

    The committee opted Tuesday night to put off deciding on the ordinance until, at the earliest, its next meeting.
