Backwards Broun is allowed to think whatever he wants personally, even if it makes him look like an idiot, but if he's going to proudly proclaim these views then he needs to get off the science committee ASAP. A man who denies most things that science holds as fact, sitting on a congressional committee on science? How the Hell did he ever even get ON the committee? I suppose his own personal reason is probably to try and deter scientific advancements as much as possible, but that's really not going to be to the benefit of our nation, now is it?

Be a local embarrassment if you must, but stop waving your flag of ignorance for the whole nation to see!

Georgia athletic director Greg McGarity expects the 2014 football schedule to be released later this month at the Southeastern Conference spring meeting in Destin, Fla. The remaining SEC West opponent for Georgia is the big reveal. McGarity said he saw ?models? of the ?14 schedule in a meeting of conference athletic directors last week in Jacksonville, but that it?s still under review.
