To those of you who posted kind words, I thank you. My son, Evan Lilly, is the good samaritan who is now dead. Regardless of fault, that one fact remains. After his father died three years ago, he stepped up to take care of his mama. He was a good friend and will be missed by many. I will be interested to see what the police report says when it is available on Tuesday.

    UPDATED: Draft language of so-called curfew ordinance

    The committee opted Tuesday night to put off deciding on the ordinance until, at the earliest, its next meeting.
