Menopause the Musical!

February 9, 2012

Menopause the Musical is coming to Athens! On February 25th and 26th the musical will debut at the Classic Center.

Reviews on BroadwayBox.com include "Great fun-a perfect ladies night" and "Go laugh and cry and just being a woman".

The 90 minute comedy celebrates "The Change" in women sharing the message that menopause is a natural part of life and just a phase every woman goes through. There are 25 re-lyricized 60s and 70s songs that poke at menopause (the funny parts) and encourage a healthy dialogue about the subject.

The story is set in a department store where four random women share hot flashes, mood swings, and other "changes" characteristic of getting older.

The musical has been performed in 12 countries for a collective audience of an estimated 10 million people.

Sounds like a pretty good time to me. Maybe something to go see with the older ladies in my life..

What about you guys? Does this sound worth your time?
