Love or money...which would you choose?

How far would you go to ensure your investments and estate are protected? Would you go as far as to adopt your girlfriend/boyfriend?

Well a Florida man is making headlines for adopting his 35-year old girlfriend. The man is in the middle of being charged for murder due to a drunk-driving incident and is also facing a lawsuit from the deceased parents. He adopted his girlfriend to ensure his estate and investments were protected and would go to the right people.

This story gave me the creeps!

It makes me wonder why would his girlfriend go along with this? The obvious answer is that she may be a gold digger.

Would you go as far to let your significant other adopt you just to make sure you could get their money?

How would this ultimately affect your relationship?

Is this a toxic move to any relationship?

    Chuck Williams wants your money

    State Rep. Chuck Williams, R-Watkinsville, is holding two fundraisers next week, indicating that he expects to have opposition either in July or November.
