Kobe Bryant has won with and without Shaq

February 13, 2012

If you're an NBA junkie you remember the days of the Los Angeles Lakers in the late 90's and early 2000's. Those teams espically in the 2000's were very good because of two main players, Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O'Neal. Kobe and Shaq played together in Los Angeles from 1996-2004. Those teams were really good and Kobe and Shaq won 3 titles together which is very impressive. After the 2004 season, the dynamic duo split up and the Lakers traded Shaq to the Miami Heat after Shaq said Kobe couldnt win without him. Kobe Bryant is one of those basketball players that uses comments about him as motivation and channels his frustration on the court.  Kobe Bryant used the motivation from what Shaq said to win two titles one in 2009 and one in 2010. Kobe Bryant is probably one of the best basketball players in the game today. He has five titles to his credit. On January 22, 2006, Kobe scored 81 points vs the Toranto Raptors. Kobe's 81 point outburst was unbelivable and the most since Wilt Chamberlain scored 100 points back on March 2,1962.  I think its safe to say Kobe can win without Shaq and is one of the greatest players in NBA History. Five rings don't lie.
