How much does your face cost?

November 12, 2012

People will sell pretty much anything nowadays. I have seen people auction off services, pictures of themselves, worn clothing items and lots of other strange items on ebay.  Here's a new one.

Eric Hartsburg auctioned off his face for $15,000 and ended up with a Romney-Ryan tattoo on the right side of his face.

I have never wanted to get a tattoo because I just can't see myself putting something that permanent on my body. I'm not real good with commitment so something that permanent scares me a lot.

Could you see yourself getting a tattoo on your face for a price?

How is this different from prostitution?  If you sell your face, you are basically selling your body.

How much would it cost to put a Dukakis/Bentsen political ad on your face?

Does everyone have a price?

Pop Addict Book Review: "Facing the Music and Living to Talk About It" by Nick Carter

As a huge Backstreet Boys fan, I was little perplexed on reading Nick Carter?s book.  It?s not like reading a book about Elvis Presley or The Beatles. I didn?t live through those moments. I didn?t see them in person. But as someone who has followed Nick?s career since I became a fan in 1998, not just in the Backstreet Boys, but as a solo artist, I?ve always thought we had a lot in common besides being the same age. read more

Links to Banner-Herald's award-winning sports stories

The Athens Banner-Herald sports staff combined to win 11 individual awards on Sunday at the Georgia Sports Writers Association's annual meeting in Marietta. You can get a few more details on that in this story ? "Banner-Herald sports staff wins 11 awards" ? and I thought I'd provide some links to the winning stories for the curious. The awards were for the sports staff's work in 2012. read more
