Gremlin Needs A Home

April 13, 2011

PET OF THE WEEK: If there was a Canine Honeypie Club, Gremlin would be the president. He's always jolly and loves everybody on two, three or four legs. At our monthly Adopt-a-Pet events he plays with every dog who'll let him and greets every human joyfully. Since he's still in late puppyhood he's got plenty of energy and goofiness, but we certainly wouldn't call him hyper. Just young and happy. Gremlin is a medium sized boy at 42 pounds - the exact optimum size for cuddling, in our humble opinion, since he's too big to get squished and too small to hog the entire couch. You may not be able to tell from his pictures, but Gremlin's fur is unbelieveably soft - he must have some Angora in his Heinz 57 mix. Yet another ideal cuddling qualification.

Gremlin is a smart fella who is quickly learning basic obedience commands and walks nicely on a leash. He loves car rides, especially when they end at a dog park or other fun place. But even a trip to the vet is fine with him, since vets are notorious for giving pettings and treats during exams (they have to do something good to make up for the thermometer!) If you are looking for an all-round sweet boy who'll go anywhere with a song in his heart, Gremlin is the dog for you!
