They found the best cities for dating based on a high population of singes. available dating venues (bars, restaurants, etc), and natural settings for outdoor adventures. 

So what did Yahoo! come up with?

1. Austin - Texas sized potential

2. Boston - Higher educated singles

3. Chicago- Cosmopolitan setting

4. Miami - Sexy singles and sizzling nightlife

5. New Orleans - French ambiance with southern comfort

6. New York City - Surplus of females in the Big Apple

7. Phoenix - Outdoor hiking and exploring

8. San Diego - Summer lovin' all year round

9. San Francisco- Cultural west coast capital

10. Seattle- Cappuccino- fueled courtships

    Chuck Williams wants your money

    State Rep. Chuck Williams, R-Watkinsville, is holding two fundraisers next week, indicating that he expects to have opposition either in July or November. The fundraisers are scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Monday at the Holiday Inn in downtown Athens and Tuesday at Springhill Suites in Oconee County. He's asking for a $100, $250 or $500 donation, but contributions aren't necessary to attend. Secretary of State Brian Kemp, Agriculture Commissioner Gary Black, Insurance Commissioner Ralph Hudgens and state Sen. Bill Cowsert, R-Athens, are the hosts. read more
