Always Baked comes to Athens

January 30, 2012

Fresh cookies delivered where you want, when  you want, until 2:30 AM, in a college town.  Always Baked is a perfect example of a "why didn't I think of that?" type business that has filled an Athens niche and the bellies of inebriated college students all over town.

Always Baked gives customers the ability to call early in the evening and place an order for a fresh cookie to be delivered to them later in the evening (or morning, if you want to get technical).

The bakery offers 4 specialty cookies:

The Almond Brothers
A combination of raisins, craisins, and almonds

On My Mind
This spin on a classic includes chocolate chips, chocolate chunks, and white chocolate chips

SpootieOotieDopeDelicious
A cookie that combines toffee, marshmellow, and butterscotch chips

Flat Foot Floozy
A peanut butter cookie with white chocolate and chocolate chips

But wait...it gets better:
Always Baked also offers FRIED COOKIE DOUGH dubbed "the Sack of Nugs."

Check out http://athenscookies.com/ to place your order or send your favorite sick ABH intern some "SpootieOotieDopeDelicious" cookies.

Will you be suprising yourself with a late night delivery? What is your go-to Athens bakery?
