About us

Natural disasters, healthcare reform and a struggling economy make news headlines, but that’s not the only chatter around the watercooler.

From the political to the hysterical, the celebrity to the controversial, Athens Talks is about what’s shocking us to the core, making us LOL or simply ticking us off. This interactive space is about its members. Whatever issues, events and people are grabbing your attention is what Athens Talks wants to discuss.

Our members are invited to monitor and comment on stories making news, as well as, to start their own conversations. We give you access to a community that cares about what’s happening in the world of health, news, politics, pop culture, sports and other areas that make up our everyday lives.

Along with following the conversations you start, Athens Talks is out listening to the hot banter.  Throughout the day, we’ll fill you in on what’s buzzing. Once you get to know us online, make plans to join Athens Talks- and Director Andrea Griffith- at meet-ups across the city.

As members of Athens Talks, you’ll also have access to our team of professionals whose main purpose is to offer information and answer questions on a number of vital issues.

Plus, check out our Screaming Deals section, which blasts the most exclusive deals and savings of the day!

Think of Athens Talks as a place where an interesting and diverse community sparks conversation, offers up ideas and enjoys hearing about great deals that save us lots of money.

We’re ‘talking amongst ourselves’ at ATHENS TALKS! Go ahead and join the conversation!
